This painting is a special one, as it reminds me of my dad. He always talked about the Cyprus trees of Cortona, Tuscany that reminded him of his favorite movie, “Gladiator”.

Seeing these Cyprus trees and their heavenly glow from the Tuscan sun was a sight that took my breathe away. I watched my dad walked down this path with the sunset shining on his back. He joyfully asked us, “is this heaven?” and we all agreed <3
